COMMISSION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Adventurers Hall — Commission Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22/11/25

A custom piece is a pact — a shared creation born of your vision and my craft. These terms ensure fairness, clarity, and peace on both sides of the workbench.
By purchasing a commission through Ko-fi, you agree to the following terms.
These terms exist to ensure a smooth, fair and enjoyable experience for both the customer (“you”) and the maker (“Adventurers Hall”).
1. Scope of Work
Before work begins, we will complete a Project Brief covering:
-
Item description & design
-
Measurements
-
Materials & colour
-
Price
-
Deadline
-
Shipping details
Work will not begin until the specification is approved.
The commission price covers only the work described in that brief.
Any additional changes, features, or new ideas added after the brief is agreed may incur extra costs.
2. Payment & Deposits
All commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure materials and time.
Work does not begin until the deposit is received.
The remaining balance is due before dispatching the finished item.
3. Refunds & Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable, as materials are purchased, and time is allocated immediately.
If you cancel the commission after work has begun, the remainder of the balance may still be charged depending on progress.
If I must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
4. Revisions & Changes
The commission includes up to two rounds of minor revisions at the sketch/plan stage.
Once materials are cut or crafting has been started, no major design changes can be made.
Major changes requested mid-project may require an additional fee or may not be possible.
5. Timeframes & Delays
Typically, a commission takes 12-16 weeks but that can vary greatly depending on the brief.
Estimated completion times will be provided before work begins.
These are estimates, not guarantees — these are handmade products, so times can vary.
I will communicate if delays occur due to materials, workload, health, or personal emergencies.
6. Materials & Craftsmanship
All leather goods are handmade by Adventurers Hall unless stated otherwise.
I use materials appropriate for LARP, cosplay, or display use — not real combat.
You are responsible for checking whether the item meets your event’s safety or costume rules.
7. Shipping, Delivery & Damage
Shipping costs are provided at the time of the final invoice.
Items are packaged securely, but I cannot guarantee delivery times once shipped.
If an item arrives damaged, you must contact me within 7 days with photos of the packaging and item.
Items will be shipped using tracked delivery.
8. Usage Rights & Intellectual Property
All designs, sketches, patterns and creative concepts remain the intellectual property of Adventurers Hall.
You may not reproduce, sell, or commission copies of my designs or patterns.
You may photograph, cosplay, and share the finished item freely — credit is appreciated but not required.
9. Maker's Discretion
To keep the Adventurer’s Hall a welcoming refuge for all, I do not accept commissions that promote hatred, violence, discrimination, harmful ideologies, or the persecution of minority groups. Any commission request of this nature will be respectfully declined.

I reserve the right to refuse commissions that:
-
Are unsafe
-
Use copyrighted material I cannot legally recreate
-
Are outside my style or skillset
-
Are requested in bad faith
-
Goes against my values
-
Or where I simply don’t believe I am the best person to execute your vision
Harassment, disrespect, or boundary-pushing will result in cancellation of the commission with no refund.
10. Commission Queue & Priority
Commissions are completed in the order they are accepted.
Certain membership tiers will receive advance notice of commissions slots becoming available. This does not give them priority in the commissions' queue.
Rush orders may be possible for an additional fee but are not guaranteed.
11. Customer Responsibilities
By commissioning Adventurers Hall, you agree to:
-
Provide accurate measurements (if applicable)
-
Supply clear references or descriptions
-
Respond in a timely manner to design approval messages
-
Understand that handmade items will vary slightly from digital or conceptual sketches
-
Accept minor natural variations in leather grain, tooling, or dyeing as part of the craft
-
The terms as listed here
